Job Description
Our client has an amazing ongoing opportunity for Registered Nurses to join their team in Hobart, Tasmania. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the mission of improving the health and well-being of the community. They are offering 6 month and 12 month permanent part-time contracts so Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply!! They unfortunately do not offer sponsorship.
- Hobart and Launceston, Tasmania
- AM/PM and NIGHT shifts available
- $36.00 – $46.00 per hour | Access to Salary Packaging to boost fortnightly pay
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to high quality care and services
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centered approach to providing care and services
- Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality person-centered care
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate each client’s individual person-centered care needs
- Consultation and education with the client and or family member or representative
- Administer patient medication, ensuring it complies with legislative requirements
- Ensure correct and accurate documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Overseeing all clinical issues within the facility
- Observing and recording patient’s behaviour
- Carry out patient treatments
