The Role

We have an exciting opportunity at Spicers Sangoma Retreat. As our full time Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be an integral part of delivering the Spicers experience to our guests, whether it be for a conference, leisure group or for our dining offering.

About Us

Spicers Sangoma Retreat is cocooned by the natural serenity of the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. Just over an hour from Sydney, and aptly named after the Zulu word for healer, Sangoma is a place where guests discover complete rejuvenation. Set within the property is our restaurant offering fresh,organic and seasonal produce sourced from the historic Hawkesbury region. With an ever evolving menu, each dish at Sangoma showcases some of the best produce from the surrounding area.

Amara Restaurant provides a unique, rewarding experience that reconnects guests with the very best of the land, and surprises with its sheer originality. The intimate 26 seat restaurant is about personalised experience for our guests staying at the retreat and guests joining for lunch and dinner from the local region.

Here's what you'll do

Curate an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish;
Forge loyal relationships with guests and locals to promote repeated clientele;
Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role

Prior experience in fine dining, hatted or high end restaurant environment;
Ability to hold a section on your own and work autonomously;
A genuine love for great food & wine;
A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
Ability work evenings and weekends as required;
A reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
