A project consultancy specialising in organisations relocation projects is seeking a suitably experienced Project Coordinator (Title: Relocations Manager) to plan and manage the logistics and the relocation delivery for a large business/organisation relocating from several Sydney sites into one new site.

Be a part of an monumental new building project in the heart of Western Sydney by joining the team planning the relocation of over 4000 staff into this new building.

The role will be supported by a highly experienced Relocations Director, and a team of specialist consultants all working towards the one goal of Day one success for all staff relocating.

The role is dynamic, no two days will be the same. The successful applicant must be energetic and flexible, willing to travel to all exit sites across Sydney on a daily basis. The location of work is agile and mobile, primarily on sites in Sydney CBD and Parramatta, with a need to travel to other suburban sites (South and North) as well.

Whilst typically the role is Monday to Friday, weekend work is a requirement from December though to April across 8 relocation weekends to ensure that the planned relocations occur successfully. A typical week will be 40hrs and a relocation week will be circa 48hrs (usually with a mid-week day off).

The Successful applicant will have;

Professional approach and appearance (integral to a consulting business)
Energy, enthusiasm and a can do attitude
Customer service focus
Demonstrated experience in scheduling major projects / events and contractor management
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Flexibility to work weekends and commit to the weekends schedule for this project (provided when short listed)

Key tasks and responsibilities for this role will be;
Managing and implementing tasks according to the developed relocation planning program
Sequencing relocation activities to a micro level (hour by hour)
Assessing exit plans, access restrictions and liaising with all building management
Coordinating a team of Move Supervisors (for the weekend work)
Scheduling all packing materials delivery
Managing relocation contractors
Supporting the staff relocating
Supporting the Relocation Project Director and the end client
Running the Relocations weekend command centre and reporting to Relocations Director
Supporting the communication program
Supporting the storage reduction program

Job requirements;
Tertiary education or extensive relatable work experience
Fast, correct worker happy to use all forms of mobile technology
Clean drivers licence (and own car preferred)
Police check
