A family business through and through, Prendiville Group owns and operates 21 iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities across three states. We are thrilled to be providing a fabulous opportunity to join a great team.

Hotel Rottnest and the newly opened Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, is well known for offering a unique experience with amazing views over Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our kitchen brigade in support of this.

Samphire Rottnest will offer 80 suites, pools, Food and Beverage options and multiple indoor/ outdoor function facilities.

We have an exciting opportunity for Chef De Parties, Demi Chefs and Comi Chefs to work within the Kitchen Brigades.

Working alongside Senior Management, you will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well in a very fast paced environment. Having worked in a similar roles within the hospitality industry, you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Role description:

You will assist with the efficient operation of the kitchens, working alongside the Executive Chef and his management team. Experience, passion and reliability are keys with a desire to advance and grow within a multi award winning company.
Eligibility Requirements:
• 3+ Years experience for CDP role
• 2+ Years experience for Demi Chef role
• 1+ Years experience for Comi Chef role
• Must have the right to work in Australia
• Great culinary skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident and professional approach
• An excellent command of English
• Ability to live and work on island
