Hotel Rottnest and the newly opened Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, is well known for offering a unique experience with amazing views over Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our team in support of this.

Samphire Rottnest will offer 80 suites, pools, Food and Beverage options and multiple indoor/ outdoor function facilities.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Food and Beverage Supervisors, Bartenders and F&B Attendants to assist with the day to day running of the venue. Working with the Management Team you will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well in a very fast paced environment. Having worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry, you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Role descriptions:
The successful candidate for Bartenders Will be responsible for:
• Keeping an up to date knowledge of all beverages being offered, Including cocktails, wine spirits and beer
• Interact with guests and recommend drinks, making their visit memorable
• To ensure that the Service areas and venue is always kept clean
• Ensure the accuracy of all cash and card transactions
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Adhere to RSA requirements
• Follow OH&S guidelines
• A high standard of personal hygiene and grooming

The successful candidate for F&B Attendant will be responsible for:
• The delivery of exceptional guest experience
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences
• The efficient dispensing and servicing of food
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
• To ensure that the Service areas and venue is always kept clean
• Ensure the accuracy of all cash and card transactions
• To observe all safety practices
• Adherence to RSA requirements
• A high standard of personal hygiene and grooming

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the above positions it is essential that you have the following key attributes:
• 1+years’ Experience - Bartender
• 1+ years’ experience - F&B Attendants
• Have worked in a high volume, high pressure environment
• Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Work well with a diverse team
• Ability to live and work on island
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
