Have you thought about coming and working in the Cape for the season or even longer?

Seisia Kiosk & Restaurant is now seeking applications for an experienced Chef/Cook.

This casual position requires the flexibility for the successful candidate to work across a 7-day roster which will include weekdays and nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties include but are not limited to:

·Food preparation and presentation
·Ensuring expectations of service are consistently met
·Maximise profitable food revenue
·Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
·Catering for functions such as parties for up to 100 people
·Ensuring menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed
·Maintaining a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen, including HACCP food safety systems.

Essential Requirements include:
·Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent or relevant experience
·minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Cook
·Demonstrated experience in a similar role - café, bistro, tavern or hotel
·Passion for cooking and presenting fantastic food
·Food stock control and ordering knowledge
·Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
·Experience in safe food handling
·Excellent time management and communication skills
