Blueberry Picking / Packing Blueberry Greens is looking for 8-10 female blueberry pickers to join our team this season. Picking starts 24 Oct 2022 and finishes 2nd April 2023 Which means you can get your 90 days 2nd visa requirements completed at one location
Blueberry Greens is situated on the Mid North Coast of NSW 5hrs North of Sydney and is only a short drive (15mins-30mins) from the most beautiful beaches in the world and famous surfing destinations of South West Rocks, Scotts Head & Crescent Head. We pay piece rate, $7.20kg premiums with a $2.40 bonus available for good quality and $3.40kg for small with a $2.40kg bonus for good quality and 2nds fruit we pay $2 per 600g sandwich bag. All picking equipment is provided. It’s not for everyone and it may take a few days to get the hang of the average wage range from $60-$120 per day depending on your speed. We work Mon - Sat 8am till about 4 pm, unless raining. I would like you to commit to at least four weeks, it will take a couple of days to get the hang of. Blueberry Greens has limited accommodation available (Females Only). Dorm style bedroom with 5 king single bunks with all linin included. There is a kitchenet with 3 x rice cookers, 2 x hot plate, 2 x electric fry pan, 1 x electric wok, 1x microwave, 1 x fridge/ freezer, 1 x upright freezer, 1x steam cooker, 2 x electric kettle, 1 x electric toaster, 1 x bread maker, and a BBQ. Open plan lounge / Dining area includes Dining Table 8 chairs, Bar table 4 stools, 3-seater futon lounge, bean bags, TV, DVD player and loads of books & reading resources, games and puzzles. Washing machine (free to use) clothes lines. Detached Toilet and Hot shower (20m away from accommodation). Other facilities Pool and heated spa, Volleyball net and ball. Alternatively, you could stay in one of the coastal tourist parks located 15-25mins drive. Blueberry Greens charges $15/day or $50/week for accommodation which includes all water, electricity & gas. Sorry No Wifi but we do have excellent phone reception. We can deduct this cost from your pays, and if work / picking slows down I don’t expect you to stay and pay (this is not a scam)
