What You Will Achieve
Working with our dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

You are recognized as a subject matter expert with specialized knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. You will be entrusted with adapting standard methods and procedures by applying your knowledge, prior work experience and requirements. Your business awareness of cross-organizational impact on project delivery will elevate the quality of project deliverables. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

You will train others and reinforce behaviours that will help us achieve our goal of providing the best healthcare to our patients.

Candidates will be required to work rotating day/night shift - 6.30am-6.30pm/6.30pm - 6.30am

This position requires you to work within a 12 hour rotational roster after an initial 8 hour day shift familiarization period.

To be successful you must possess:
• A minimum of three to five years work experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Experience with machine and equipment set ups, preferably with packaging equipment within the pharmaceutical or food industries.
• Demonstrated well-developed fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work in a small team without close supervision
• Customer focus with good communication skills
• PLC diagnostic experience will be highly regarded.
• Be physically fit.

Further experience in any of the following areas will provide you with a distinct advantage:
• Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Maintenance Fitting
• Working in a GMP environment, including clean rooms.
• Computerised maintenance management systems.
• Robotic systems and packaging equipment
• Experience of condition based monitoring.
• Instrumentation and calibration.
