Merimbula Fresh Seafoods is a retail seafood business that provides fresh local seafood to the public. Located on the beautiful Sapphire Coast. You will be part of our customer service team working in a fast paced environment. Training will be provided but you need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and show initiative. Must be available to work weekends across a 7 day roster.
TASKS
Sale of fresh seafood using digital scales, electronic registers, cash or eftpos;
When required, provide information, advice and assistance to customers;
Set up, maintain stock levels and pull down of display at end of day;
Preparation of fresh and frozen products for sale;
Cleaning and sanitising of all food preparation areas, utensils and contact surfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment;
Experience working seafood or food preparation is desirable;
Be physically fit as some heavy lifting required; and
Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
