We are looking for professional housekeepers in the Manly who are able to clean properties with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests ensuring that every property is presented to a 5-star quality clean standard.
The App – Our Houst Housekeeping app works like Uber! You can accept cleans that work for your schedule
Your Schedule – You can dictate your availability in the app
Super Flexible – work as much or as little as you’re able – cleans are available 7 days/week!
Sociable Hours – cleans are scheduled between 9AM and 5PM (the majority are available between 11AM-3PM)
Self-employed – all our cleaners are contractors
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour (rate increases the more cleans you do and the higher quality scores you receive!)
Rota Planning – Shifts become available up to a month in advance
What you’ll do:
Carry out cleans to a 5* standard at our client’s properties following Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning process
Make beds & stock property fresh towels, tea towels etc (this will be delivered directly to the property from our supplier while you’re there)
Ensure property is presented well and tidy for all incoming guests
Take stock of items that need to be replenished and top up as needed (dishwashing liquid, bin bags, toilet paper etc) – you will be reimbursed for all costs!
Check property condition carefully and report any damages via the app
Communicate with our in-house team as needed throughout the clean
Carry out additional special tasks from the app as needed such as cleaning a BBQ or checking if the WiFi is working (you will be compensated for any additional time required)
You take pride in your work and will make it your mission to carry out cleans to a 5* standard
You have excellent attention to detail and will ensure to check properties thoroughly for (and photograph) any damages
You will take initiative to make suggestions for property improvements or additional cleaning that might be required (e.g. a professional upholstery clean)
You are a great communicator and will take initiative to be in touch with our in-house team throughout the clean as needed to raise any issues and ask questions – if something doesn’t look right, we want to know :)
You are dependable and reliable and will carry out the cleans you sign up for
You are punctual and will arrive at the scheduled clean time
You ideally have housekeeping experience (added bonus for experience in hotel/accommodation cleaning). Preferred but not an absolute must – we will train you! *Please outline your previous experience in your application
If you have a vehicle that is an extra bonus! Candidates with their own transportation will be prioritised. *Please specify if you have a vehicle in your application
You have flexibility in your schedule and ideally can commit to 3-5 cleans per week on average though you can certainly accept more if you can! The more cleans you do/the higher your rating, the more you can earn!
If you can travel to Sydney for cleans too that is an advantage
