Job Description
On the lookout for 1-2 people with horse experience to join us at The New England Brumby Sanctuary, located in Armidale nsw.
Board in a 2 bedroom self contained cottage and food/meals included in exchange for helping on the property (welcome to also set up your own camper/caravan if preferred).
Situated on a picturesque 1400 acres, hosting 40+ Brumbies and a number of eventing/show jumping/performance horses. Duties include feeding horses, tacking up, washing, helping bring unhandled horses in to work with, property maintenance and all other aspects of farm life along with being able to supervise a happy little 1year old boy from time to time. Opportunities to ride if experience permits and attend shows/events.
Long or short term available, we are very easy going and flexible, with plenty of time to yourself. We've hosted a lovely German girl previously for 6 weeks and she became part of the family. A chance to see what happens with our Australian wild horses from capture to saddle/showing and taking on domestic life.
Small wage may be available if necessary.
