General Laborers/ Meat Packers

We are currently seeking Meat Packer/ Cold Storage worker for an immediate start at our processing facility in Osborne Park.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in the meat industry is preferred but not essential.
Willing to undergo a Pre-employment medical.
Physically fit with an ability to complete repetitive motion tasks with hands and wrists.
Must be reliable and punctual with attendance.
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong health, safety and food hygiene focus and the ability to ensure company guidelines are adhered to.
Ability to speak, write and understand a basic level of English and to understand and follow instructions.
All positions will be required to work within a team-based environment to achieve daily tasks and requirements
Australian work rights

Tasks for Meat Production:
Manual handling.
Stacking cartons on pallets.
Packing meat and bones into boxes.
Sorting bones.
Strapping boxes

Tasks for Cold Storage:
Manual handling.
Receiving and loading out of orders.
Stock rotations and selection.
Assisting production staffs.
Willing to work in cold environment

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Casual - ongoing employment
Full time hours
6.00 am start Monday to Friday for Packers
07:00 am start Monday to Friday for cold storage worker
Above Meat Industry Award rate + penalty
