Assistant Photographer - Kids Photography Studio Sydney

At JUST SHOOT ME,
we capture beautiful moments of newborns, babies, toddlers, kids, teens, and families with our dynamic POP-UP Photo Studio throughout Sydney's shopping centres.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an Experienced Assistant Photographer to join our team. You’ll be an essential part of creating a fun and memorable experience for our young clients and their families. This position offers the flexibility of casual hours (10-4daily M-F), making it an ideal opportunity for backpackers looking to embark on a rewarding journey in this unique industry.




Qualifications and Skills:
• Passion for working with children, from newborns to 10yo.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Creativity and adaptability, with a well-rounded skill set.
• Physical fitness, health, and an active demeanor.
• Understanding of the nuances of Kids Photography.
• Strong creativity and flexibility, combined with all-around skills.
• Preferably resident in the Sydney area

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality, on-point photography in line with our studio standards for each child.
• Collaborate closely with the Studio Manager and crew members.
• Read and respond to children's behaviour, engaging with them on their level.
• Maintain a repertoire of age-appropriate poses for each child's session.
• Sustain high energy levels throughout the day.
