Named for the Owner/Executive Chef's grandparents, Frank & Connie's Kitchen has garnered a strong local community and tourist following in the busy Daylesford restaurant scene. We are a small venue with a homely, nostalgic feel with a punchy and local produce driven blackboard menu. Owned and run by an experienced hospitality couple, we put a lot of love into our venues and aim for our guests and staff to feel the same.

Frank & Connie's Kitchen is also the big sibling to our second venture, Harry's Hepburn. Opening in March 2020, Harry's is the complimentary cafe/casual diner to our restaurant; and being located just 200m down the road, allows us to broaden our offering to our guests.

THE ROLE
Having just taken on a third kitchen on the Main Road in Hepburn Springs in a live music/theatre venue, we are excited to be able to offer FULL-TIME Chef a long term position within our friendly and hard working teams. This role would suit the chef looking for variety in their work and the opportunity to grow with the group. Working across two kitchens, this position is for someone comfortable working across multiple menus and genuinely working with food.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Running a section
- Management of junior kitchen staff
- Larder preparation
- Butchery
- Baking
- Stock control
- Cleaning and management of kitchen cleanliness

ABOUT YOU
- Available to work weekends and evenings
- Min 2 years experience in a similar role
- Punctuality
- Neat presentation and working style
- Able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work to a fast paced environment
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Effective communication skills with staff and customers
