Job Description
Escape to the country! I live on a 5 acre hobby farm with ornamental gardens in East Trentham just one hour from Melbourne.
Pitch your tent, bring your van (toilet and shower facilities available) or stay in a room in the old farm house.
In exchange for bed, breakfast and simple evening meal, work 4 hours a day in the house and garden doing simple tasks like cleaning, weeding, mulching and watering or caring for the horses, sheep, chickens and ducks, then relax for the rest of the day and enjoy the beautiful property, swim in the lake or explore the nearby towns and Wombat State forest.
Ideally you will have a love for the countryside and preferably a basic knowledge of horticulture and animal husbandry. Most people come and stay for about a week or so.
