Superette Bar & Wine is in the heart of the Sapphire Coast in the township of Merimbula. Merimbula is a fast growing coastal town with a vibrant food and wine scene.

About the role

Superette is looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced chef/cook to join our small team and passionate team.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Working with local and seasonal ingredients on a constantly changing menu, striving to consistently deliver the best;
Adhere to recipes and procedures as outlined by the Head Chef and provide input into menu design and creation, writing recipes where appropriate;
Having full knowledge of every menu item from start to finish
Someone who understands and is in line with our ethos.
Running and maintaining a section under the guidance of the head chef.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experiences;
Relevant experience
Ability to take direction from head chef and willingness to follow instruction.
Willing and able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings when required;
A strong work ethic, a passion to create good food and a desire to succeed
Be a motivated team member and be able to work and communicate in a small work environment.
