Job Description
The job is located in Drake NSW, which is 2 hours inland from Ballina.
Your shifts will be 3 hours on Friday, 3 hours on Saturday, 3 hours on Sunday, 3 hours on Monday, then off until the next Friday.
Each day from Friday to Monday (inclusive) will count as a day of farm work for your visa sign off.
Main tasks:
- feeding some baby goats each day
- setting up electric fencing for goats (very easy and all training provided)
- brush cutting when necessary to clear a line for the fence
- light chainsaw use if comfortable
- checking on the main herd of adult goats to make sure they all look healthy
All training and tools are provided.
There are no facilities at all on site, but the nearest public toilets are 300m away. Location of the job is right on the edge of Drake Village, 400m away from the pub and 300m away from the public toilets and coffee shop.
You will be able to camp on site if you'd like, but please note there is no electricity and no facilities at all, so it would be bush camping.
This will count as farm work for your second or third year working holiday visa and I will do the necessary paperwork.
I would consider a couple or singles if you're comfortable doing it by yourself (I will be there to train you the first week and then on Fridays only.)

I run a business called Rainbow Goats, where I rent out my goats for eco-friendly vegetation control. I generally bring the herd back to the home farm around June to raise the new baby goats. This can get very busy so I generally look for help around that time every year.
