Homestead Help – Wollogorang Station

The role:
Wollogorang Station is located on the QLD/NT border on the Savannah Way. This exciting opportunity to join our Wollogorang team as a Domestic/ Homestead help, in a permanent full-time position, we will consider working holiday via applicants. For this position you will need to be organised, friendly, hardworking and able to work in a team environment.

We will arrange travel from here. Minimum of 3months work stay

Day to day duties will vary, however will include things similar to below.
• Cleaning the living quarters, guest quarters, recreational areas and other amenities and dwellings as needed
• Changing linens and cleaning the guest accommodation
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the homestead
• Help with unpacking, sorting, and stacking of station supplies. Station supplies come fortnightly to the station
• Monitoring the stock of products in recreational areas
• Assisting the station cook when needed – baking, meal prep etc
• Working with the border station staff with other services – taking out parts, feeding cows, watering cows etc
Please note: All of the above is done alongside other women/men on the station.

Ideally the successful candidate will:
• Have flexible and agile mindset, with the ability to undertake various tasks directed or alongside other staff members.
• Enjoy working autonomously with limited direction but with the station team.
• Have knowledge of cleaning, hygiene practices
• Be able to priorities workloads.
