Job Description
Cobbold Gorge Tours is looking for an Experienced CHEF to join our team to assist with providing the true "Outback Experience" for our guests.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food
Prepare and cook modern Australian cuisine
Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
Inform staff of daily specials
Ability to modify recipes to meet customers needs and requests.
Position requirements:
2+ years’ experience in a similar role
High standard of hygiene & cleanliness.
Willingness to train inexperienced staff.
Calm and happy disposition is essential.
Previous experience working in a remote/regional location desirable.
Strong understanding of food, health and safety practices.
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Food Handlers and RSA certificate required.
Position commences late March through to early November.
