OVERVIEW OF: To ensure all customers within the restaurant and responsibilities functions areas are efficiently and professionally served providing the highest possible standard of service at all times.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Open or assist with shift in restaurant and/ or functions
Conduct the set up of conference rooms and Restaurant area for guest’s use.
Provide catering options and service to function guests during arrival, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
Ensure at the completion of function catering that the area is clean and ready for viewing by potential clientele.
Act as the line of communication between guests and the hotel to ensure that their needs are met if not exceeded.
Ensure Restaurant, Bar and Oak Room are kept in an organised and hygienic state.
Ensure that all storage areas are kept in a safe and organised state.
Ensure all Conference & Restaurant equipment is maintained in a safe, working and presentable condition.
Ensure the proper and secure storage of Liquor items.
Monitor and control levels of conference supplies in liaison with Functions Manager
Assist with the operation of restaurant services
Liaise any safety or departmental issues to Restaurant or Hotel Manager
Any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
