This is a temp to permanent role with company sponsorship on offer for the right candidate who has minimum 2 years of experience.
Hosepower is the Territory’s largest and most comprehensive integrated hydraulic and industrial fluid equipment sales and service provider.
We are searching for a Workshop Fitter to carry out repairs to hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors, pumps and valves within our friendly workshop environment.
Starting rate is $40 to $45 per hour plus super dependent on experience.
7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Main duties would be:
- Resealing cylinders as required
- Service and repair to hydraulic components and systems
- Day to day workshop duties
Requirements:
- Trade qualified – heavy diesel, fitter & turner, fitter machinist all suitable
- Experience & ability to diagnose & repair hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors, valves & pumps
- Previous experience is preferred
- Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship with ability to work within a team
